From Kodak
Kodak EASYSHARE Printer Dock 2 Plus (1684190) makes printing digital-camera photos amazingly simple yet never compromises on print quality and durability. There's no easier way to turn a moment in time into a memory you'll cherish for a lifetime. It uses a dye-sublimation printing process that is comparable to the technology used by professional image labs. The EasyShare printer dock plus is simple enough to use right out of the box -- no computer required - or transfer pictures from camera to computer at the touch of a button. It can also recharge your KODAK EASYSHARE Camera Battery in 3.5 hours or less. It can create prints from any brand's PictBridge enabled digital camera and reads SD SecureDigital and MMC cards using the built-in SD/MMC card slot. You can also install the Printer Dock Plus on your computer to print real Kodak photos from your picture library.
The EasyShare printer is, in a word, awesome. Despite a few minor flaws, it essentially solves the basic problem of digital photography, namely that we all have hard drives crammed with thousands of images and no actual physical photos. (Remember, the kind you can put on your refrigerator and mail to your mom?) And it solves this problem affordably, at about 29 cents a print once you factor in the cost of paper and cartridges. But most important of all, the quality of the photos it prints is eye-wateringly good.
