I was really excited to see the camera come in at such a cheap price. I was always reluctant to go to the digital cameras, as I always prefered film - and the suprise of the prints that comes with them. I had my C813 for about two weeks when the first day that I took it out beyond taking a few pictures around the house it stopped powering on. Now I have to wait for a replacement and am a bit dissapointed in that.

I went back and forth on three different Kodak cameras and this one by far was the best choice. The other two were the Z710 and the Z1285(12 MP). This camera is compact - which is what I was looking for - and it has all the features of the other two. The clarity of the pictures is incredible, and the menus are very easy to follow. The only drawback I find with the camera is that I seem to go through batteries fairly quickly, although not as fast as the 12MP model. Overall, I would highly recommend this camera.

I haven't seen a point-and-shot so complete in a long time. I just love it. Its almost pro feature, The details,even in a low light conditions, is fast recording the pics and the batteries last longer than my preview C743, and the HD videos, I'm really impressed with all of this and I think this Kodak is a excellent digital camera.

I love this camera. I have had some very high end cameras that did not take photos as well as this one! Nice and clear and with great detail and color! I am sold on this and highly recommend it.

I went back and forth on three different Kodak cameras and this one by far was the best choice. The other two were the Z710 and the Z1285(12 MP). The Kodak M853 is the best pocket size camera in stores. The camera is easy to under stand. And looks realy Nice. and works Great to. And It Takes crystal clear photos every time. And it also has alot of features that another camera does not have. And if you are planing on buying this camera I would also recomend a SanDisk Memory card And a Zing camera case. I would recomend the Kodak M853 to who wants a good pocket size Camera.

The Kodak M853 is the best pocket size camera in stores. The camera is easy to under stand. And looks realy Nice. and works Great to. And It Takes crystal clear photos every time. And it also has alot of features that another camera does not have. And if you are planing on buying this camera I would also recomend a SanDisk Memory card And a Zing camera case. I would recomend the Kodak M853 to who wants a good pocket size Camera.

The Z712's 7.1-megapixel sensor delivers excellent resolution for prints up to 30 by-40 inches, and you can crop your pictures and still get stunning quality. This camera takes great photos and the image stabilization lets me get sharp pictures when the camera is down to 1/30s at max zoom. The only quality issue I see is that the high ISO, 800 or greater, produces noise in the pictures so I avoid high ISO. It does well to ISO 400 though. I have not yet seen any digital camera that is not an SLR produce good photos at high ISO. I highly recommend this camera. It is well built and a great size to carry around.

Camera works very well, pictures are of very good quality at 8 megapixels. One drawback is that when you remove the batteries for charging, it loses the date and has to be reset. Supposededly, a docking station (extra charge) eliminates the need to remove batteries. Also, there is no "Easy Share" if you are running older operating systems, like my Millenium Edition. Guess I now need a new computer to print or email my pictures. I suppose Walmart could at least do printing.

Bought the Kodak Z885 for my daughter. She has been interested in digital photography since using my Kodak D7630 camera. The camera is a birthday gift that was recieved with great enthusiasm. We both like the 5x optical zoom and easy operational steps. We were able to go through the features on the camera without a problem and are pleasantly impressed with the clearity of captured images.

This camera is excellent just as described. The price was also excellent for the features it has. The only thing is I really wanted a pink camera and the color is listed as pink rose but the pink should be called sheer pink because the color is barely there. Other than that I love it!

Really like this camera! Not as fancy as my Z710, but perfect to keep in my purse for those surprise Kodak moments. For those having problems, don't return it right away...play with it a bit. You might just no be using it on the correct settings for the type of setting/light you are in. I know there can be minor defects, but I think for the majority of the people complaining, it might be user error. If you know how to use it, it works beautifully!
