From Kodak
The EasyShare C613 features a 6.2-megapixel CCD for stunning prints up to 20 by-30 inches, and more megapixels means you can crop and still get a great picture, while Kodak Color Science helps to capture bright, beautiful color. A Kodak AF 3x optical aspheric zoom lens (35 mm equivalent of 36–108 mm) captures crisp details and gets you closer to your subjects without losing picture quality, and 5x digital zoom enlarges your pictures even more. Plus, we made sure it had the one feature you’ve come to expect -- simplicity. Because if your camera is simple to use, you’ll love to take pictures.
I purchased this camera to replace my kodak c643 that was dropped. I cried for days over that one plus it was just over a year old!! Anyway, I wanted a camera that was compatible with the kodak printer that I have (good pics. when I can get it to work). This camera is not as good as the c643, but it's also less expensive. It does what it says it's supposed to. The software for it is easy to use and set up. The real cons are: it eats batteries(but what digital camera doesn't?) You need to buy an extra memory card for it(also normal for this type of camera) And the big one for me is....that when you take video you can not hear the audio on the camera. You have to wait until you put it on the computer to hear it. Unless I missed that part in the booklet. Anyway, it's easy to use and a good camera if you aren't looking for pro shots or just want a 'no brainer' camera. I use it to take pics of my kids so I can remember how goofy and hammy they are before they become uptight teens!!
